HOMECOMING AUCTION
APRIL 2024
-
Impact
A total of $76,000 has been raised, thanks to all of the incredible participants, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
The $292 per child that has been raised for the 2024-2025 school year will help to fill the void from what city, state, and federal funding does not cover for the rich & vibrant curriculum, specialty programs, and nurturing environment that Woodland Star provides.
As Woodland Star grows from a current student body of 220 to close to capacity at 260, so does the need.
With a total need of $365 per child, we are only $72 per child away from reaching our goal!
We invite you to join in this mission by giving what you can in the ways you can. Including:
Buy a ticket to the Songbird Parlour Dinner on June 26, 2023. Details HERE
Buy a ticket to the Paella Night on July 9, 2024 while they last! Details HERE

Fund-a-Need
An incredible $35,000 was raised for the inspiring Local Lunchbox Fund-a-Need!
Kickstarted with the inspiring vision of the Executive Director Caroline Hopewell to bring healthy, whole, unprocessed foods to the school table with ingredients that have been purchased from local farms and businesses, the Local Lunchbox Fund-a-Need inspired the entire crowd. That crowd, with the additional support of the incredible generosity of an anonymous donor, built a true foundation to build upon.
Food made onsite for both breakfast and lunch with local, whole foods will create a way to care for our children, the community, and our earth.
The exciting thing is that we are able to continue to nourish this program!
